HOW DO I ENROL IN CERT III OR DIPLOMA?

Complete and submit the enrolment form and a PEAK Training team member will contact you.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR A WEBINAR OR AN INDIVIDUAL UNIT?

Once you have chosen your course/s and proceeded to the checkout, you will be able to fill in the registration form with all of your details.

WHERE DO I PAY?

We use PAYPAL, you may pay once you have enrolled and purchased a course. We also have options available through Smart & Skilled funding, reach out if you have any further questions.

WHAT IF I CANNOT AFFORD A QUALIFICATION?

If you are not eligible to receive Fee Free NSW Smart & Skilled funding for an accredited qualification, and you are experiencing financial hardship, you can apply for an Individualised Payment Plan. Contact us for more information.

WHERE CAN I ACCESS YOUR RESOURCES?

All learning materials required for the course are provided by PEAK. You will be given access to E -Textbooks, as well as other engaging learning materials including videos, readings and articles.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CHILD PROTECTION (REFRESHER) WEBINAR AND THE CHCPRT025 IDENTIFY AND RESPOND TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AT RISK UNIT COURSE?

The Child Protection (refresher) is a 2 hour Webinar designed for people who have already completed CHCPRT025 and need to maintain currency in their professional practice.

CHCPRT025 is the full accredited child protection unit.

In NSW, nominated supervisors and persons in day-to-day charge must complete a child protection course required by a Government protocol applying to the approved provider in accordance with section 162A of the Children (Education and Care Services) National Law. In-house training is not sufficient.

ARE PEAK TRAINING COURSES NESA ACCREDITED?

As an Early Childhood Teacher you are required to maintain your Teacher accreditation with 50 hours of Elective PD and 50 hours of Accredited PD over a 5 year period. Whilst our PD courses are not currently NESA Accredited, they can be documented as Elective PD.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CERTIFICATE?

A certificate will be issued to the participant within 3-5 days.

AM I ABLE TO GET A REFUND EVEN AFTER PURCHASING A SPOT FOR A WEBINAR?

If a course is cancelled, we will advise enrolled participants as soon as possible and offer options. If options offered do not meet your requirements you are entitled to a credit or full refund of fees paid. No administrative charges or penalties will apply.
If an enrolled participant provides at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation prior to the session commencing a credit or refund of fees paid (less 25% nonrefundable administration fee) may apply.
If an enrolled participant cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice or does not login or attend a course; they will not be eligible to a credit or refund.

ARE LIVE WEBINARS OFFERED AS A RECORDING?

No, unfortunately they are not. We offer live webinars to encourage participant engagement, ensure high quality training, and allow participants to network.

WHAT DO I NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN A LIVE WEBINAR?

All you will need is a Computer/laptop that has good audio and a good internet connection. No need for Microphone or video

CAN I BOOK A WEBINAR FOR A TEAM OF EDUCATORS AT A SUITABLE TIME (OUTSIDE OF OUR WORK HOURS)?

WHAT ARE THE WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS?

Certificate III – Minimum 160hrs
Diploma – Minimum – 280hrs

These must be completed in an Approved ECEC service.

HOW LONG DOES EACH COURSE TAKE, AND CAN I FINISH IT QUICKER? WHAT IF I NEED MORE TIME?

Our study is self – paced, so students are able to work through assessment tasks independently. Sometimes students are able to complete the work quicker due to previous experience in the sector, or having credit transfers.

ARE THERE ANY PREREQUISITES?

There are no prerequisites for Certificate III, However students enrolling into the Diploma must have first completed their Certificate III (CHC30113 or CHC30121)
