How do you feel about planning for children to take risks in their play?

This session explores the benefits of risky and adventurous play and will support you to reframe what is acceptable risk and an acceptable level of danger while still meeting regulatory obligations. You will learn about the value of viewing children as capable and competent in carrying out their own risk-assessments with a benefit-risk lens to manage risks in their play, and how you can support this this in a safe way.
